Cornish Recipes - Sausage Roly-Poly
Ingredients:
500g Self Raising Flour
125g Suet
500g Sausage Meat
1 Onion finely chopped
1 Potato finely sliced
Method:
1. Mix the flour and suet with a little water till it makes a stiff dough.
2. Roll the stiff dough (on a floured surface) out till about 2.5cm thick.
3. Spread the sausage meat liberally over the dough, add a layer of very finely cut onion, then a layer of finely sliced potato.
4. Roll up tightly and tie in a well floured cloth, leaving room for the pudding to swell.
5. Boil for two ana a half hours.
Serve with green vegetables.
